The focus night and day and purevision lenses have been approved to leave on the eye for 4 weeks at a time. Others like the o2 optix and acuvue oasys can be left on the eye for 7 days. The most important rule with contact lenses is don't abuse them. Don't wear a lens longer than it should be used, and don't wear a lens if it is bothering your eye.
